You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

Some Exciting Life Developments

Hello friends!

I am sure by now many of you have been wondering, "Where on earth has she been?"  And that is a legitimate question.  The last six months, in many ways have been an exciting blur!

For those of you who have read my book, you know how I feel about God bringing opportunities into our lives.  There is no such thing as coincidence.  Many times, sequences in life lead us to God's new goals for us.  Well, God told me to strap in and hold on tight, and so I have been!

As you know, my girls' group hosted Christian artist Jason Dunn for two shows in our area.  Our family really fell in love with Jason, and there was an instant bond.  Scott and I both decided to bring Jason back this fall and I started planning a big youth event.  I figured that as long as I was bringing him here I should book a few more shows for him.  The more I did, the more passion grew in me.  Before long, Jason invited me to become his booking agent.

I am having so much fun in this brand new (volunteer, I will not take any money for serving others, as many of you know) position.  I want to let you all know about the fall tour we are planning.  Jason will be playing to raise money for the American Diabetes Association.

Jason was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of twelve.  He is now passionate about not only finding a cure, but also being a positive role model for children and young adults who are coping with the disease.  We will be asking people to donate their spare change at each show, and Jason will match those donations.

If Jason is coming to a city near you, I hope you will consider coming to support him.  All of the tour dates are available at my new website www.eosliveevents.com .

I also wanted to share our promotional video with you.  I am so proud of all that Jason is doing and am thrilled to be a part of the team who is making it happen!  Blessings to you all!  Nancy
