Today we decided we needed a change of scenery, so we found a beautiful Botanical Garden nearby and spent the afternoon there. They had an amazing garden full of butterflies that Hannah would have loved! There were boxes of hatching butterflies and we actually got to see one coming out of its cocoon, it was truly amazing!There were tropical forests, and a Japanese garden with Bonsai Trees that were incredible! We even got to take a trip to Thailand. It was just what we all needed, and well worth missing my afternoon nap for!
Unfortunately, Hannah and Scott will not be able to visit this weekend, but I will celebrate Mother's Day with them next weekend and with my mom (and dad) this weekend.

It is thrilling to see you out and about enjoying the beauty of the world. I am so glad that you were able to make that special trip. The pictures are great--thanks so much for sharing them. You are such a beautiful woman and have such an amazing soul. I wish you the Happiest of Mother's Day. I know you would prefer to be at home with Scott and Hannah, but God has in his plans for you to get new lungs so you have many more Mother's Day to spend with them.
