You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

Amazing Hannah

I have to share that Hannah and her friend Gabi spent the whole night in the camper by themselves. This is a landmark occasion. I had placed bets with Scott that they wouldn't last 15 minutes out there in the dark, but surprise, surprise, they didn't come in until this morning. Now I really know my baby is growing up, how scary!

Tonight we will be going to a parade in Allegany, NY to watch Hannah and the Irish Dancers. I will try to get some pictures or video to share. Breathing is so AWESOME!!!!!

Love to you all! Nancy

How fun! She is definately growing up. Alex is leaving for camp tomorrow for 7 days!! He is only excited, no nerves at all. What a far cry from my little guy tht used to come home from sleep overs before the sleeping part! I am so happy that you now have to opportunity to continue to watch this beautiful and fun process! I often greatfully think of your donor and the gift they gave you!

Lots of love and hugs,

Amy

Hi Nancy!

I am so happy and excited for Nancy. That is a HUGE step for her! Although, she is your daughter, so should we be that surprised that she is making such big strides? It is always so fun and comforting as parents to watch our children grow in different ways! I hope she continues to have fun and break new barriers!

Enjoy your summer. I am so happy that you are doing so well and enjoying your new lungs!

Love and blessings,

Debbie
