You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

Oh Happy Days!

What a wonderful weekend!  Happy Easter a bit late, I hope yours was as wonderful as ours was.  I have some catching up to do.  We were so busy over the weekend that I didn't have time to share.  Let me backtrack.

Monday, April 5

Yesterday Hannah got braces on her front teeth.  Though the process of getting the braces on wasn't too bad, she was very sore and miserable last night and this morning.

 Sunday, April 5

Christ the Lord is Risen Today, Alleluia!!!  Though I don't have pictures yet, we had a lovely Easter.  We started the day at Mass with my Uncle Tom, Aunt Jill, and cousin Bridget and her family.  We then joined them for breakfast.

The Easter Bunny came and left lots of goodies and Hannah enjoyed as Easter egg hunt both inside and out!

We enjoyed dinner with Scott's family that afternoon.

Saturday, April 3

Happy Birthday to Lydia!  We celebrated my niece Lydia's 6th Birthday.

Spring has Sprung.  80* out, a great day for Jeeping and of course ice cream!

 Friday, April 2

No School, so Hannah had a friend from Irish Dance sleep over.  They had a great time decorating eggs for Easter.  When they finished they tie dyed several kleenex.  They topped it off by watching New Moon, what a fun night!

I will share the Easter pictures with you as soon as I can.  We are also getting ready for something big that I haven't shared with you, so look forward to more about that later.

My love to you all!  Nancy
