You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

Fishing

Yesterday morning my family headed out bright and early to fish. I don't have a pole or a license, so I just went to enjoy the beautiful morning. We had a great time, even though not one fish nibbled on their lines. It was just wonderful being out and enjoying the glory of God's wonderful morning. The only bad thing was it tired me out enough that I had to go back to bed instead of to church, which I hadn't intended. But I certainly had time to praise and give thanks while we were out enjoying nature.

Saturday night we were invited to a BBQ at our friends Joe and Kim's camp. I haven't been out to a friend's house for dinner in a very long time, so it was really special to just hang out with friends.

I hope your Monday was good and uneventful. With my love, Nancy

Hi Nancy!

Long time no comment for me! I have still been checking your blog but just have not commented.

I LOVE the fishing pics. Looks like you all had a good time. Jack always tells the kids that there will be times they will not get any bites, but it is being out there learning and loving nature!

I am sure it is just so unreal that you now get to go on all of these expeditions! What a wonderful gift to you to enjoy your family and all of God's wonderful surroundings!

You look wonderful and I have really enjoyed reading your posts and all the fun things you have been doing with Hannah.

May you continue to get stronger each day and find something "new" that you can do. Enjoy these times Nancy...I know you will!

Thinking of you always! My best to you and your family!

With love and prayers,

Debbie
