You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

Still no news from Pittsburgh. I did receive a call from my insurance this morning telling me the authorization has gone through, so we are just waiting for Pittsburgh to get the official word. I'll continue to keep you posted as I know anything.

Oh Nancy!
This is wonderful news. Dealing with insurance sometimes can be long and hard. I am so glad they have given the green light, now we just need Pittsburgh to call. Keep that positive spirit and know that you are thought of and prayed for on a daily basis. Love you!

Love,

Debbie

My friend,
So glad to hear that authorization has gone through. Insurance is always the biggest hurdle and/or nightmare. You're one step closer to breathing with new lungs. I can't wait! I so want you to feel that "full air" feeling. Thank you for diligently posting your progress and news. I log on every day - always keeping you in close thought and prayer.
Love you, friend.

Hi Nancy,

I am Collen's Mom. As Sarah mentioned, Colleen has been keeping us posted and I just wanted you to know you have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks. - I was pleased to hear that they have revised the listing process and that all your testing and insurance hoops are past you. My husband was on the transplant list in Philadelphia a few years ago, so I know some of you have been going through and that each day brings you closer and closer to the surgery. - I bought several of your books and have shared them with family and friends. I hope that it is a small way that I can help. It is a wonderful book and I thank you for writing it, for sharing your struggle, your courage and your beautiful faith. - We will continue to hold you up to "Him who makes all things new", and may He keep you in the palm of His hand. God Bless you.

Peace and Hugs,
Kathy
