You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

Greatly Blessed!

I just want to share how peaceful and happy I feel. I have experienced such an outpouring of love from the community, friends, and my family. I couldn't be more blessed! I will be going to Pittsburgh knowing that I am surrounded by love and prayers and that is such a comfort! Thank you all so much!

We had a lovely weekend. We celebrated Scott's Birthday with a wonderful family dinner at my sister-in-law's on Saturday. Scott's mom made an adorable puppy cake.

Everything is set for our move on Thursday, so I am just trying to enjoy my last few days at home.

All my love! Nancy

Nancy,
I am so glad that you are at a peaceful place in your life right now. I know that will help you in this next stage of your life. You deserve all the well wishes, love, and support. I know everyone out there has been inspired by you. I really don't think you know how truly special and wonderful you are. You are an amazing woman who has touched so many peoples lives with your spirit, your unselfishness, your graciousness, and just your overall attitude about life. You inspire others like no one else I have ever met. You have made me a better person by just being a part of my life. Enjoy these last few days at home and know that God is ready to hold you in His hands and carry you through your transplant. Thank you for inspiring me and thank you for being my friend. My life is richly blessed with you in it! I love you! Give my best to your family please!

Love,

Debbie
