Hello friends!
I have had a difficult few days. I have had more lung bleeding causing lung discomfort and exhaustion. I am awaiting the results of blood work drawn yesterday to see if my lungs have become infected again. I have been on IVs for over 4 weeks now, so I really hope there isn't a new infection, but if there is, we will deal with it.
I received a beautiful letter from a new friend recently and one of the questions she asked me was what is my current goal? I thought that was a great question and wanted to share my answer with all of you.
As most of you know, I have really tried to turn this experience into one that can benefit and help others. My new book is my way of reaching out to others dealing with chronic and terminal illness and trying to help them in the only way I currently can. All of the proceeds from this new book will be used to purchase books to donate to organizations that serve people with chronic and terminal illnesses.
So, my new goal is to donate as many of my new books as possible. If you would like to help me with this goal, you can purchase one of my books and donate it to your local Hospice, to a doctor's office, to a church, anywhere you think it may reach a person who is ill and in need of support.
Thank you for any help you can give me in reaching my latest goal! All my love! Nancy
Welcome friends and family!
Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!
It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

Nancy,
Your ability to focus on the positive is just plain AMAZING! I think your new goal is awesome and I will do my part in helping you reach that goal of yours.
I hope your doctors can find out why you are bleeding so much and help you out. Please know that you continue to be in our daily thoughts, prayers, conversations, and kept ever so close in our hearts!
I love you and I thank God on a daily basis for blessing my life with your spirit, love, and enduring friendship. Get some good rest this week and lets hope that phone rings soon with good news!
Keeping you close in my heart,
Debbie

Hi Nancy,
I think that is an awesome goal! I am going to talk to my MOM's club about helping out. We do several charitable events a year and I think this one would be the best! So hopefully we can help you in reaching that goal too! I love you and think of you often throughout my days. I hope you are able to feel some releif from the discomfort soon and rest well tonight.
Lots of love and hugs,
Amy
