You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

We Hit 10,000!

Congratulations friends, today we reached 10,000 visits! I have heard from my 10,000 and 10,004th visitor, but still need to hear from 10,001-3. Congratulations so far to Lorain and Amy!

All of you mean so much to me; I hope you realize how much. This blog has given me so many things, some days it has been my only reason to get up and get moving, just knowing you are all waiting to hear from me has given me purpose and motivation.

Thank you for blessing me with your love, friendship, kindness, faith, and hope for a better future. This fight has not been mine alone, I have an army full of dedicated soldiers all praying for my strength to win this battle, I couldn't be more blessed!

God bless and keep you all! Nancy

Hi Nancy,
I love you so much and I am so glad to have the opportunity to follow you along on your journey. I absolutely love to see your pictures and hear about your wonderful times with your family. I watch the pictures all of the time and listen to your songs. The stories about your not so good days are the days we say extra prayers for you. The fun facts were great! I remember the video and of course I couldn't forget the New Kids!! You are an amazing singer too so I can see why you loved to sing in his band. Although, a rock band is a far cry from Gershwin and Phantom huh?!! What fun that was! You have touched so many people's hearts through your book (now books!!) and this blog! But... you've always been AMAZING!
So glad you don't have an infection and I hope the next call comes soon!

Lots of love and hugs,
Amy

Nancy, I am a friend of Jo Doherty's. I am a retired nurse hospice practioner and a church friend who tried to support Jo in Bill's end days. She gave me your book and I was touched past words. I want you to know I pray for you in each of my prayers. As you know, with God ALL things are possible. I cannot wait to meet you personally. Love in Christ, Marty Van Deusen mavdrn@yahoo.com
