You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

ANOTHER NIGHT FOR REST AND SLEEP!

As Ann and I prepared to leave the hospital tonight, Nancy was continuing to look good and much more rested.  But with another good night of sleep and rest, hopefully tomorrow will be even better than today was!

Sleep well dear friends, the journey is just beginning!

And tomorrow will bring another HUGE smile when Scott arrives at D948 on the ninth floor!  Nancy's smile will light up the world when he walks through that door!   Josh Groban's version of "There's So Much To Be Thankful For" seems an appropriate way to end another good day.

Every day gets better and better--I'm so happy for you. BTW, tried to order your book through your website, but it didn't work, so I ordered it through Amazon. Hope this doesn't mess things up for the overall goal. Congrats on being such a great writer!

Enjoy Scott Nancy! This is one of many new and exciting moments for you both!

I love you so much. Take good care and keep that smile a smilin'!

What a wonderful week of recovery it's been, although I wish it were without the back pain. Glad to hear of the strides Nancy's making each day though- answered prayers continue!
I hope for a very special time for Nancy with Scott- it just makes me want to cry to think of their reunion after this miraculous week & a half!
Blessings go out to you all. Thanks so much for all the heartfelt, informative updates, Vance. It's so precious to hear everything from the perspective of her dad- one who obviously loves his daughter very, very much.

Warmest wishes for continued strength & healing,
Jennifer
