You've Been Given the Gift of Life, Give it Back!

Welcome friends and family!

Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!

It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.

My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!

May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy

A Quick Update

Hello!

As you all can imagine I am exhausted from all of our weekend adventures, but we are settling in. We will be having my friend Julie and her mom over for dinner tomorrow night. They are hoping to be able to go home for good later this week, I pray they will get home for Christmas!

I wanted to ask you to pray for Hannah. She is pretty sick and has been since Wednesday. We brought her to Pittsburgh, against our better judgment, and she fought a high fever all weekend. She is still feeling awful and the fever has yet to go away. Unfortunately, it seems to be viral, so we will just have to let it run its course. She has been crying a lot, wanting her mommy, (as we all do when we feel sick) so she needs some extra prayers coming her way.

Thank you all so much! Nancy

Hi Nancy!

We always enjoy hearing from you even if it is a quick update. Glad to hear that you are reconnecting with some of your friends that you met during your previous stay! I am sure it will be wonderful seeing Julie and her mom again. Have fun!

Extra prayers are being sent to Hannah! I hope she feels better soon. I know how miserable it is to be sick and top it off with not having your mom there. She is definitely in our prayers, as you all are. I hope she kicks this sickness soon!

Our love to you all! We hope this is the best Christmas ever this year for you!

I love you and miss you Nancy!

Hi Nancy,
Oh, Hannah. Nothing can help better than mommy when you are sick. You moving was a big change and not feeling well makes it even harder, I am sure. We will say extra prayers for her and you this week. We hope she is feeling better soon.

Have a wonderful dinner with Julie and her mom.

Have a good night and I hope you and Hannah both have a good day tomorrow.

Lots of love and hugs,
Amy
