Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!
It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.
If you are a first time visitor, please take a moment to watch The Miracle of Transplantation video below. To me, pictures speak a thousand words.
My entries begin in April of 2008 and my double lung transplant was December 10. Scroll down to my blog archive and you can read from the beginning or jump around. If you are looking for a specific topic, you can use the search engine.
Please feel free to contact me with questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!
I hope I can help you to experience the love God has for each and every one of us!
May God Bless You with Miracles in Your Life! Nancy
Nancy has had a good afternoon. She's taken another walk, had her catheter removed so she can be more comfortable and is back sleeping again. All in all, it's been a very good day indeed!
It is so great to hear that Nancy has had a great day! She looks great and is making great strides! Keep up the great smiles, spirit and faith Nancy! We love you and are so proud of you!
I am so happy you had a good day--here's to many good days! We love you so much, it is so wonderful to see you smile! Sleep well--snuggle with that new blanket! Hugs and Kisses!
So good to hear the news that the day was a good one! We've been off-line for a few days, but how alternately exciting and slightly downer to read all at once the ups (the smiles!), the downs (the terrible pain!), the ups (the 9th floor private room), the downs (12 hours to get there), the ups (more smiles and banana pudding), and now another good day!
Vance, thank you so much for keeping up the blog along with all the other stuff you're doing. And our thanks and love to Grandma Gail, too . . . we'd been wondering how on earth Scott was handling all of this.
God is good! We continue to pray daily.
We send our love, Your (former Wyoming) Oregon friends Jan & Dan
