Thank you for visiting my blog. It documents my amazing journey from pre to post double lung transplant. I am a 37 year old mother and wife with Cystic Fibrosis who has been more greatly blessed than I could ever imagine possible!
It has been a bumpy ride, but God has given me strength, love, friendship, and, FINALLY, health. My prayers have been answered, my miracle was granted, and I want to share the joy of my new life with you.

Yeah! I am doing the white sputum dance right now! Good for you! One step closer on your journey with your new lungs! Way to go Nancy! Enjoy your time with your hubby!
That's just the beginning!! It won't be long & you'll forget what it was like to cough! I'm so happy you're doing so well!! Did they clamshell cut you or just the two side incinsions? I can't imagine 6 chest tubes....I only had 4 & they hurt! You will feel much more comfortable when they start removing the tubes! Have you had nurse Dan?? He's great. Well I pray for your recovery to go well every night...I'll be in Pittsburgh jan 8th.... If your still there on the 9th floor, I'll stop by!
Great news! I'm looking forward to hearing ALL of the things you will be able to do now that you will be HEALTHY and feeling GREAT! You're doing so great in your recovery. We are SO HAPPY for you!
I never knew that I could be so happy about sputnum!!! What ever that is ---get it all out! I am so happy for you! I love you! ENJOY your weekend--get lots of rest.
